Frequently
Asked Questions :
1Do I need a medical prescription ?
To benefit from coverage for physiotherapy sessions, a medical prescription is required. This must be standardized and indicate the type of treatment, the number of sessions, their frequency, as well as the prescribed treatment. The number of sessions covered varies depending on the pathology: 8 for common cases, 64 for serious pathologies, and 32 for post-surgical rehabilitation. Serious pathologies are defined in the statutes of the National Health Fund (CNS) and on the back of the standardized prescription.
Home treatment (ZD10) must be checked or indicated on the prescription. Without this, our physiotherapists will not be able to come to your home. This mention is mandatory.
Foreign prescriptions must be written in French, German or English and contain all the required information. Otherwise, they cannot be processed by the CNS.

3Is there a deadline for submitting my medical prescription ?
The prescription must be validated by the CNS within 30 days of the prescription date. Validation consists of issuing a coverage certificate, indicating the maximum duration of treatment, the number of sessions and the coverage rate.
If your prescription is dated more than 30 days after the prescribed date, we will not be able to process it. We invite you to contact your doctor to obtain a new valid prescription.

4Which pathologies are covered by the CNS and how ?
Heavy pathology
For patients affiliated with the CNS, physiotherapy care for certain conditions is 100% covered by the CNS, including the physiotherapist's travel expenses, without any billing from us, regardless of the number of sessions or the place of treatment. These conditions are listed in Appendix G of the CNS statutes and include conditions such as hemiplegia, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, etc.
Post-surgical rehabilitation
Patients who have undergone surgery and require post-surgical physiotherapy sessions at home can benefit from 32 sessions covered at 100%, within four months following the operation, according to CNS standards.
Common pathology
For other conditions not covered 100% by the CNS, affiliated patients will be billed 30%, while the CNS will cover 70% of the costs, at the end of each prescription. Patients with supplementary health insurance can request reimbursement from their insurance.
